Ford - Where are the Joneses?

Where Are the Joneses? was a British daily filmed sitcom sponsored by Ford of Europe and created by Imagination and Baby Cow Productions in 2007.

The interactive online sitcom engaged its audience with the brand in a very different way by allowing them to participate in the storytelling.

Ford invited the online audience to become involved in developing the storyline by submitting their script ideas through a branded wiki site. Registered visitors could write dialogue, suggest new characters, or just suggest what The Joneses should do next.

Each day a new episode was developed , shot and broadcast across multiple distribution platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Wikidot and wherearethejoneses.com

Filming took place daily in 12 countries throughout Europe, and 90  episodes  were produced in 3 months.

My role as line producer included working with the UK based script team and location Director to develop the storyline for each episode. Whilst on the road I was responsible for production and delivery of each daily episode.
